Bartolo Ishmael showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Torino FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arí da Fonseca in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Torino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gervásio Severiano came free, but Tomás Bonifaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans-Hermann Spieler had several of the VB-Team's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Bonifaco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervásio Severiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind VB-Team's goalkeeper Avelino Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Bartolo Ishmael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Hans-Hermann Spieler notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of VB-Team's Avelino Cunha. Avelino Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. VB-Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartolo Ishmael was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Caeiro in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Bonifaco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Torino FC had won after a very even match.
