Alex Mori hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Barnaby Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pär Are having to interfere. Pär Are took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torrey Molloy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Rigan Frankson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pär Are saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute 1948 MKS were awarded a corner. Ersin Uyguralp went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 28th match minute, Montechiarugolo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmine Belardi to maneuver through the defense. Carmine Belardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ter Stegen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beagan Colwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Pär Are tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniele Bevilacqua in the 40th minute of play. Torrey Molloy struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Pär Are didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1948 MKS. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barnaby Rogers during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ter Stegen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmine Belardi in the 48th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carmine Belardi to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Carmine Belardi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ter Stegen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Montechiarugolo AFC made a substitution. Ciro Di Renzo replaced Alex Mori. Kaine Kirby got a throw-in 67 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Beagan Colwell. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigan Frankson in the 70th minute of play forced Montechiarugolo AFC's goalkeeper Pär Are to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70thth minute of the game Rigan Frankson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montechiarugolo AFC's Pär Are was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 1948 MKS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ersin Uyguralp in the 72nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Ersin Uyguralp got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pär Are quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Bevilacqua, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 1948 MKS's Torrey Molloy got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rigan Frankson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pär Are having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Montechiarugolo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Torrey Molloy came free, but Pär Are reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Daniele Bevilacqua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pär Are was a little too slow when Barnaby Rogers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Rigan Frankson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 1948 MKS were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Montechiarugolo AFC to leave the ground with a draw.
