Alexander Higgins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Severino Furtado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rony Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. Alexander Higgins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edu Velloso in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Scotland's Jaxson Russell got a free kick in the 30th minute. Scotland's Alexander Higgins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Scotland from getting a goal against them. Robert McNeill charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert McNeill the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard shot by Giuseppe Siqueira from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Alexander Higgins's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Scotland's Alexander Higgins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Scotland from getting a goal against them. Nuno Leal might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Higgins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno Leal ran back to his position shaking his head. When Jataiense Futebol Clube's Nuno Leal in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scotland's goalie prevented a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zac O'Donnell to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Edu Velloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexander Higgins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edu Velloso went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Nuno Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jataiense Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Leal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Higgins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Scotland getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ashton Nelson hit a great ball. Alexander Higgins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Edu Velloso took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Higgins. Alexander Higgins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jataiense Futebol Clube had played much better football throughout.
