Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Christoffer Vestbø got the match started through his kick off. After 7 played minutes A.S.D. Marzabotto got a freekick which was hit by Bernie Odell. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Quirce in the 13th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Christoffer Vestbø could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Tommy Kahn however easily saved by the left post. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Christoffer Vestbø got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Vernon McCall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to A.S.D. Marzabotto getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Tamás Benkô hit a great ball. Frank Sachs was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the match, A.S.D. Marzabotto's Christoffer Vestbø sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Lupi, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the game, A.S.D. Marzabotto's Christoffer Vestbø nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 34thth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.S.D. Marzabotto's Kaká Favoretto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the game, A.S.D. Marzabotto's Aurelio Quirce nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kaká Favoretto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Kaká Favoretto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Malte Schiele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaká Favoretto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christian Nicolo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 52nd match minute, A.S.D. Marzabotto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernie Odell to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 55 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Lupi hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Kaká Favoretto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, A.S.D. Marzabotto's Anfilogino Melone got a free kick in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Aurelio Quirce had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurelio Quirce was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Vernon McCall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.S.D. Marzabotto's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. Germany's Frank Sachs was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kaká Favoretto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Kaká Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Quirce in the 92nd minute of the match. There was no doubt that A.S.D. Marzabotto were the better team. A.S.D. Marzabotto's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
