In the 8th minute, Quentin Beaux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maxime Durand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ersan Ergüleç went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Válbson Pimenta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After some careless play in the France defense, Válbson Pimenta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maxime Durand. The France fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maxime Durand should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Maxime Durand threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Válbson Pimenta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Imbituba - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after France's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafa Marques took the corner. The corner ended in Rafa Marques almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but France's Maxime Durand did a great save. With his leg Maxime Durand managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Imbituba - FSCMZ's Válbson Pimenta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ersan Ergüleç had several of the France's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Maxime Durand as he didn't even see the shot coming. Alexis Bruneau hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Válbson Pimenta tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 31 minutes of play, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Válbson Pimenta made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxime Durand was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Válbson Pimenta got free with Maxime Durand in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Imbituba - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rafa Marques in the 37th minute. After taking down the ball on Imbituba - FSCMZ's corner Rafa Marques fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maxime Durand quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rogério da Silva during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Rogério da Silva got a free kick in the 38th minute. Rogério da Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxime Durand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogério da Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. Maxime Durand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válbson Pimenta in the 43rd minute. After 45 minutes France's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rafa Marques who took care of the corner kick. In the 47th minute, Rafa Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The wind increased when Frank Peletier made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Válbson Pimenta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Válbson Pimenta's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válbson Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Válbson Pimenta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maxime Durand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 67 minutes into the match, Válbson Pimenta notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of France's Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Imbituba - FSCMZ made a substitution. Berenguer Anda replaced Válbson Pimenta. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Nathaniel Burnett was substituted for Ersan Ergüleç. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nathaniel Burnett in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. Sidney Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Baume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Henry Robiquet. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Ademar de Mendonça was substituted for Armandinho Loyola. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathaniel Burnett in the 81st minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nathaniel Burnett's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. But to his dismay, Nathaniel Burnett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Imbituba - FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while France had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
