Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sebastian Titz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 77th minute of the match. After 78 minutes Sydney FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Emanuel Ogășanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Hanstein came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Önder Cebi in the 87th minute of play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Hanstein in the 88th minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Allan Björk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Allan Björk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2.
