The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Fodor Daniel managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Sten Dum fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 19 minutes into the match, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Aaron Ramsdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Dum got free with Fodor Daniel in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Jörgen Vikström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Jörgen Vikström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Aaron Ramsdal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Vikström in the 30th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Hegedus Henrik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
