Battle of death
Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Kornel Jahoda got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Henrich Slany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Escobar in the 6th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Humberto Escobar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrich Slany was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Slovakia's zone, Humberto Escobar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrich Slany came out of the goal and Humberto Escobar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Aizprua in the 10th minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Metod Mlynar fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slovakia's protests and gave Metod Mlynar a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Metod Mlynar. Henrich Slany made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Escobar in the 13th minute. Giancarlo Mora's late challenge caught a Slovakia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giancarlo Mora helped the player get up and apologised. Henrich Slany was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Humberto Escobar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Slovakia's zone, Humberto Escobar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrich Slany came out of the goal and Humberto Escobar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Metod Mlynar kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Humberto Escobar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Henrich Slany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martín Ulloa in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrich Slany prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 41 minutes, Rafael Aizprua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Aizprua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Totín Smith came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Totín Smith couldn't finish the play. Vít Biskup kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Escobar to strike the kick off in the second half. Totín Smith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Metod Mlynar was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. When ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Humberto Escobar in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Slovakia's goalie prevented a goal. After 60 minutes Slovakia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Giancarlo Mora who took care of the corner kick. Henrich Slany came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Martín Ulloa. But to his dismay, Martín Ulloa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Rafael Aizprua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Kornel Jahoda. In the 76th minute Humberto Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Vavrinec Koleno got a free kick in the 77th minute. Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martín Ulloa in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Humberto Escobar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrich Slany was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After 83 minutes of play, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Humberto Escobar made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrich Slany was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the game, Martín Ulloa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Henrich Slany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th minute, Martín Ulloa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. After some careless play in the Slovakia defense, Humberto Escobar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. The Slovakia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrich Slany should have stopped the shot. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
