Cazimir Corbeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihăiţă Ilarie kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kobra TEAM's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mihăiţă Ilarie was slow to take the kick. During this time MIT Craiova's players had a chance to rest. Radu Sărăroiu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. A sloppy throw-in by King Kobra in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MIT Craiova's Ivan Vâtcă. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 19th minute of play forced Kobra TEAM's goalkeeper King Junior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Taşcău in the 21st minute of play forced MIT Craiova's goalkeeper Calistrat Madgearu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calistrat Madgearu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghe Taşcău, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calistrat Madgearu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gheorghe Taşcău went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. King Junior was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Tiberiu Caramarin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tiberiu Caramarin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Calistrat Madgearu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Taşcău in the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of MIT Craiova booed when Kobra TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krisztián Petres didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, MIT Craiova's King Junior threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tiberiu Caramarin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Tiberiu Caramarin took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for King Junior to make any attempt to save it. Kobra TEAM's Liviu Cristocea quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Radu Sărăroiu, made in the 43rd minute of the game. After having played for 46 minutes, Gheorghe Taşcău managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kobra TEAM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gheorghe Taşcău was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Gheorghe Taşcău made the kick off in the second half. Gheorghe Taşcău struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Calistrat Madgearu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kobra TEAM. Gheorghe Taşcău sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Calistrat Madgearu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghe Taşcău, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. King Junior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Kobra TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Dorin Banu came free, but King Junior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Gheorghe Taşcău sped through MIT Craiova's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Calistrat Madgearu. Kobra TEAM's George Mineață was substituted for Cazimir Corbeanu. When MIT Craiova's Nicodim Orășan in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. King Junior was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but King Junior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Kobra TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Caramarin came free, but King Junior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Gheorghe Taşcău got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. King Junior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Tunander in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Tiberiu Caramarin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MIT Craiova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. In the 90th minute, Nicodim Orășan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gheorghe Taşcău recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Kobra TEAM's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
