In the 23rdth minute of the game Florent Sorlin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nova Era's Chico Pinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Titouan Levet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Lucas Beltrán got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fc Kertzfeld's Helmut Lossimäe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Kertzfeld from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Helmut Lossimäe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nova Era's attentive Artur Tande managed to snatch the ball when Gaston Toupin made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. Reynaldo Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of Fc Kertzfeld booed when Nova Era was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Beltrán didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teo Esiquio charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Fc Kertzfeld's Helmut Lossimäe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Rocio in the 39th minute of play. Eugênio Meireles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Raphael Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Teo Esiquio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Beltrán to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Kertzfeld's goalkeeper Helmut Lossimäe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nova Era's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
