The supporters of Vancouver Reds booed when Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Milian didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wágner Recife got free with Hilario Laurgain in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Conrado Mino got a throw-in 5 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gustavo Jusepe. Hilario Laurgain made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wágner Recife in the 7th minute. Hilario Laurgain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Niva, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Wágner Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Hilario Laurgain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Niva in the 13th minute of the match. Vancouver Reds's Greger Sandström quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ermegildo Chorache, made in the 15th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's goalkeeper Hilario Laurgain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wágner Recife. In the 20th minute, Claudio Bernal made a precise shot to the right of Santana Armada. Vancouver Reds's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Vancouver Reds's Wágner Recife ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hilario Laurgain. Hilario Laurgain yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's goalkeeper Hilario Laurgain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wágner Recife. Hilario Laurgain made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wágner Recife in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute Everardo Milian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santana Armada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilario Laurgain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Niva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute of the match Vancouver Reds got a corner. Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Greger Sandström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vancouver Reds's Greger Sandström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hilario Laurgain in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Santana Armada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Fix in the 41st minute of the match. Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's Gustavo Jusepe suffered a concussion in the 42nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 42 minutes into the game, Bixente Lizarazu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vancouver Reds's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ the free kick. Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ made a substitution. Maximo Francesco replaced Gustavo Jusepe. A collision led to Vancouver Reds getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Bixente Lizarazu hit a great ball. In the 45th minute of the match Conrado Mino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santana Armada showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Everardo Milian made the kick off in the second half. Everardo Milian in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Santana Armada, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hilario Laurgain came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Vancouver Reds's Wágner Recife. But to his dismay, Wágner Recife quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's Hilario Laurgain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Niva in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Vancouver Reds getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jakub Kiwior hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Wágner Recife came free, but Hilario Laurgain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hilario Laurgain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greger Sandström, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute Vancouver Reds were awarded a corner. Greger Sandström went to the cornerflag to take it. Saverio Niva took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hilario Laurgain. Hilario Laurgain dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a rather tough play, Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's Valentin Cebo got a free kick in the 76th minute. Vancouver Reds's Greger Sandström couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ. Hilario Laurgain came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Vancouver Reds's Rodrigo Ferdinand. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Ferdinand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 83rd minute, Wágner Recife made a precise shot to the right of Hilario Laurgain. Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Benicio Valentine struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Hilario Laurgain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vancouver Reds. Rodrigo Ferdinand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hilario Laurgain didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score.

When the referee ended the match the Vancouver Reds players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
