Ciro Rexino started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Rexino came free, but Kim Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Nevada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Dem in the 8th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Lucian. 19 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Rexino came free, but Kim Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kim Hendrickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Rexino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kim Hendrickx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Rexino's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Eugenio Nevada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Dem in the 20th minute of the match. Racing Club's Eugenio Nevada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francis Van Geel in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, KFC Cromvelde's Kim Hendrickx got control of the ball when Ciro Rexino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Racing Club were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after KFC Cromvelde's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eustacio Fernandes took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Eustacio Fernandes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kim Hendrickx quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kim Hendrickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Rexino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Racing Club booed when KFC Cromvelde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertus Van Nel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Ciro Rexino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kim Hendrickx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eugenio Nevada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francis Van Geel in the 39th minute of play. Ciro Rexino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Ladislao Birila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugenio Nevada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willem-Alexander Vercauteren, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Dem to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Rexino in the 62nd minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Kim Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kim Hendrickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Rexino in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KFC Cromvelde's Albertus Van Nel got a free kick in the 70th minute. Racing Club's Isaias Urtsua was substituted for Prudencio Donzel. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Kim Hendrickx, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. KFC Cromvelde's Mateo Kindermans suffered a sore thigh after 81 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Cao Cheng Lin charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cao Cheng Lin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. KFC Cromvelde's Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt was substituted for Mateo Kindermans. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Cao Cheng Lin hit a great ball. Racing Club were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after KFC Cromvelde's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Shantala took the corner. Kim Hendrickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Urtsua, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.

Thanks to some nice moves Carlos Shantala could shoot a difficult shot in the 100th minute, which Kim Hendrickx however easily saved by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Dem during the 102nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 102 played minutes KFC Cromvelde got a freekick which was hit by Ali Dem. Francis Van Geel shot from long distance after 106 played minutes, a shot that Eugenio Nevada with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Kim Hendrickx made a fantastic save in the 108th minute, when Carlos Shantala sent off a good shot on target. The score was still level after an even and exciting first-half in extra time. The players took a moment to grab a drink and get instructions from their managers before swapping ends.

When it was time for second half in the overtime, the players were a bit slow, but they soon became more alert when it was time for Willem-Alexander Vercauteren to make the kick off. 118 minutes into the match, Francis Van Geel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eugenio Nevada, 0-1. The KFC Cromvelde supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KFC Cromvelde would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
