With a little luck, Eurospeed Asti's Damiano Battisti got control of the ball when Liu Chao Xiao tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damiano Battisti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liu Chao Xiao's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Liu Chao Xiaos short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Damiano Battisti to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 35 minutes into the match, Club 23's goal looked a bit too open when Elia Pietrantoni came free, but Remus Vuia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damiano Battisti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Druțu Daniel in the 37th minute of the match. Rogelio Jordy hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Liu Chao Xiao stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Damiano Battisti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Chao Xiao in the 54th minute of play. Ragnar Lönn hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Eurospeed Asti's Damiano Battisti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liu Chao Xiao in the 64th minute of play. Damiano Battisti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aron Chițes's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the game, Club 23's Aron Chițes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damiano Battisti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 92nd minute of the match Club 23 got a corner. Eurospeed Asti's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Remicio ran over to the corner to take the kick. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Eurospeed Asti's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Remicio was slow to take the kick. During this time Club 23's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Ragnar Lönn managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Eurospeed Asti players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club 23.
