László Lantos started the match with the kick off. Valentin Plopșor took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised István Jósa. István Jósa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 10th minute Valentin Plopșor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but István Jósa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Valentin Plopșor made a precise shot to the right of István Jósa. FC Henter Somosd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. A collision led to F.C.BARLAD getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Paul Albuț hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Valentin Plopșor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of István Jósa. FC Henter Somosd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Plopșor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Simionescu in the 42nd minute of play forced FC Henter Somosd's goalkeeper István Jósa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. László Lantos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Sebastian Manafu made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Plopșor made a kick off. Valentin Plopșor struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. István Jósa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.BARLAD. If Octav Ţintea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Henter Somosd's István Jósa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Henter Somosd from getting a goal against them. Valentin Plopșor kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Sebastian Manafu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rómeó Török, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Manafu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rómeó Török in the 71st minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Octav Ţintea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. István Jósa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. The supporters of FC Henter Somosd booed when F.C.BARLAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Popeneciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Valentin Plopșor was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. A collision led to F.C.BARLAD getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Valentin Plopșor hit a great ball. When F.C.BARLAD's Ferdinand Simionescu in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Henter Somosd's goalie prevented a goal. Ferdinand Simionescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

F.C.BARLAD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
