Cosimo Mascia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Graciano Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Clovis Hénot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute of the match, Clovis Hénot tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wilson Amorim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Clovis Hénot succeeded in the game's 17th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 20 minutes into the game, when Níels Skakkebæk put in a rough tackle. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cosimo Mascia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th minute Clovis Hénot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosimo Mascia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Graciano Coutinho hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Moreira came free, but Cosimo Mascia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Portugal's Viriato Moura in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clovis Hénot made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Felipe Barreto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cosimo Mascia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 55th minute Milan Froněk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Pascal Laadal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Cosimo Mascia in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Cosimo Mascia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Felipinho Amorim got a free kick in the 72nd minute. LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO made a substitution. Haakon Taankvist replaced Karl Souvignet. In the 73rd match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipinho Amorim to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clovis Hénot in the 77th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's Cosimo Mascia got control of the ball when Felipinho Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line.
