Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) All Stars Gent's Joop Mesmaeckers started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jannes Gramet during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 7 minutes of play, Hungary's Takacs Tibor made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eser Şemsi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eser Şemsi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takacs Tibor, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. All Stars Gent's Eser Şemsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 13th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as All Stars Gent's Michael Cuelens slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fodor Daniel. That made the score 1-1 after 15 minutes of play. In the 18th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eser Şemsi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All Stars Gent's Eser Şemsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Christiaan Elsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. All Stars Gent's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. Christiaan Elsen kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Joop Mesmaeckers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Cuelens in the 27th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joop Mesmaeckers's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eser Şemsi having to interfere. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Cuelens in the 33rd minute of play. If Joop Mesmaeckers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Hungary booed when All Stars Gent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ray Van Aarschot didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiaan Elsen in the 53rd minute of play. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Cuelens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Joop Mesmaeckers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Christiaan Elsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, All Stars Gent's Jannes Gramet got a free kick in the 68th minute. Eser Şemsi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Antal Valentin. Michael Cuelens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. After 76 played minutes All Stars Gent got a freekick which was hit by Esterilla Van Meenen. In a very dangerous position, a player in All Stars Gent fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eser Şemsi having to make a save. After 88 played minutes All Stars Gent got a freekick which was hit by Ray Van Aarschot. Eser Şemsi made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. Christiaan Elsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Hungary failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
