Pogoń Szczecin's Sebastião Xoxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Atarrabi in the 8th minute of play. Pogoń Szczecin's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Conrado Donzel in the 10th minute. The corner ended in Conrado Donzel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Soroca F.C.'s Vitaliy Vischak did a great save. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Vitaliy Vischak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Xoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrián Espadas in the 16th minute of play forced Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Sebastião Xoxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Norbert Major took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Vitaliy Vischak to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva got a free kick in the 24th minute. Norbert Major's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vitaliy Vischak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match Pogoń Szczecin got a corner. Soroca F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Conrado Donzel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Conrado Donzel made a great header on Pogoń Szczecin's corner, it was just that Soroca F.C.'s Vitaliy Vischak managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Sebastião Xoxe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Xoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrián Espadas was the one to do the kick off. Sebastião Xoxe was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adrián Espadas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 52 minute of play. In the 55th minute, Norbert Major made a precise shot to the right of Vitaliy Vischak. Soroca F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Soroca F.C.'s Cosme Jaen was substituted for Rodolfo Atarrabi. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Răzvan Necula replaced Adrián Espadas. Soroca F.C.'s Godofredo Quilino was substituted for Gustavo Tartalo. Sebastião Xoxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Necula, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Vitaliy Vischak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Major, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitaliy Vischak came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Pogoń Szczecin's Norbert Major. But to his dismay, Norbert Major quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Pogoń Szczecin were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
