After a defensive mix-up in Sawino SA's zone, Gandalf Head stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Borys Lanczak came out of the goal and Gandalf Head tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edward Slazak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janusz Niedzwiecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 11 in the game by Janusz Niedzwiecki from a close distance when the talented Edward Slazak managed to make a qualified save. FC MARKUS's players were relieved. In the 14th minute Waclaw Hludzenski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Slazak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sawino SA were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after FC MARKUS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ignacy Frodyma took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Nuno Tasso heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Sawino SA's Ignacy Frodyma was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edward Slazak in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. FC MARKUS's Teobald Jeziorkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edward Slazak came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Sawino SA's Janusz Niedzwiecki. But to his dismay, Janusz Niedzwiecki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gandalf Head to make the kick off. With a little luck, Sawino SA's Borys Lanczak got control of the ball when Teobald Jeziorkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edward Slazak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janusz Niedzwiecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gandalf Head received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Borys Lanczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teobald Jeziorkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Luís Fabiano de Brito fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC MARKUS's protests and gave Luís Fabiano de Brito a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC MARKUS getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Luís Fabiano de Brito hit a great ball. Edward Slazak came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Sawino SA's Waclaw Hludzenski. But to his dismay, Waclaw Hludzenski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC MARKUS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ignacy Frodyma was slow to take the kick. During this time Sawino SA's players had a chance to rest. Ignacy Frodyma made a great header on Sawino SA's corner, it was just that FC MARKUS's Edward Slazak managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 93rd minute of the match, Teobald Jeziorkowski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Borys Lanczak was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Niedzwiecki in the 94th minute of play forced FC MARKUS's goalkeeper Edward Slazak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sawino SA had won after a very even match.
