Norbert Majors short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Antoni Dawiec to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Pogoń Szczecin's Cezary Jarocewicz got a free kick in the 16th minute. A collision led to BREAK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Stefan Dzerwucki hit a great ball. Antoni Dawiec made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Norbert Major sent off a good shot on target. Antoni Dawiec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norbert Major went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Gonzo Gonzo took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastião Xoxe. Sebastião Xoxe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norbert Major got free with Antoni Dawiec in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Norbert Major might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antoni Dawiec. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norbert Major ran back to his position shaking his head. Antoni Dawiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Major in the 94th minute of play.
