In the 17th match minute, Olympique Gdynia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Czeslaw Domeracki to maneuver through the defense. Mieszko Marosz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tanek Ostrowski. Olympique Gdynia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. But to his dismay, Tirso Isasaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's attentive Jerry Cala managed to snatch the ball when Noam Chomsky made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. Zbyszek Le Bonniec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Tanek Ostrowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rdth minute of the game Şota Arveladze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Gustaw Nowak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 79 played minutes Olympique Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Tirso Isasaga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noam Chomsky in the 83rd minute of play forced Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalkeeper Gustaw Nowak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaw Nowak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şota Arveladze in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Olympique Gdynia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
