Dario Wilhelm came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Grosso United's Gustavo da Costa. But to his dismay, Gustavo da Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Dario Wilhelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Xacintu in the 33rd minute of the match. Åke Abelsson scored 2-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Wilhelm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ulises Gartzen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Dario Wilhelm made a huge save. Dario Wilhelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Gartzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulises Gartzens short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Dario Wilhelm to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 46 minutes into the match, Cayetano Xacintu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dario Wilhelm, 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Amir Lee made the kick off in the second half.
