After 11 minutes Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xove Høj who took care of the corner kick. Xove Høj made a great header on Consejo del Mate's corner, it was just that Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Erhan İren managed to reach the ball for a save. Americo Suero kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Suero came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bolo Bolaño struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Erhan İren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Consejo del Mate. Erhan İren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bolo Bolaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Ryberg in the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Consejo del Mate got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Santana. 25 minutes into the match, Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's John Ryberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Orlando Gatti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Consejo del Mate booed when Teɱperłey Cɨŧy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Cordarell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Erhan İren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Santana in the 29th minute of play. Erhan İren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Santana in the 32nd minute of play. Americo Sueros short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Hugo Orlando Gatti to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 42 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John Ryberg. Alan Franco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hugo Orlando Gatti. Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Gunnar Hake got a free kick in the 46th minute. Erhan İren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bolo Bolaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bolo Bolaño made a kick off. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Suero, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute Teɱperłey Cɨŧy were awarded a corner. Gunnar Hake went to the cornerflag to take it. Hugo Orlando Gatti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Americo Suero's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Esteban Loi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Orlando Gatti having to interfere. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Gonzales Rivera managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aquiles Cordero in the 66 minute of the game. Aquiles Cordero kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Alvaro Raymond. But to his dismay, Alvaro Raymond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Consejo del Mate's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bonifacio Guib was slow to take the kick. During this time Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's corner Bonifacio Guib fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hugo Orlando Gatti quite easily take care of the ball. Alvaro Raymond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Orlando Gatti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Alan Franco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Orlando Gatti having to make a save. After 85 minutes of play, Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Alvaro Raymond made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Orlando Gatti was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Consejo del Mate defense, Alvaro Raymond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti. The Consejo del Mate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Orlando Gatti should have stopped the shot. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Raymond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Consejo del Mate's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bonifacio Guib took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy had won after a very even match.
