Mon Navarro Montoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rory Jobson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rory Jobson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mon Navarro Montoya came out and tried to block the shot, but Rory Jobson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Vasco Olarticoechea managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's supporters rose to their feet, but Vasco Olarticoechea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. La Mano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Mon Navarro Montoya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Keiran Tubbs. La Mano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Honrio in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute San Lorenzo de Sarandi were awarded a corner. Elias Honrio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Ryszard Luty getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Mon Navarro Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rory Jobson in the 30th minute of play. La Mano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Rosio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Mon Navarro Montoya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yuan Xing Lin. Alvar Olsson hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Elias Honrio, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 57th minute Rory Jobson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mon Navarro Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Mano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baumar Cotarelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Frank Teixeira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of La Mano. That made the score 1-1 after 97 minutes of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
