In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ismael Nazario Serre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christian Baiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Bobby Axelrod made a huge save. After 11 minutes SK Slavia Bohnice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcel Pinho who took care of the corner kick. 12 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislav Konvalinka came free, but Ismael Nazario Serre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislav Konvalinka in the 15th minute of play forced Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ismael Nazario Serre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, SK Slavia Bohnice's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho de Carvalho came free, but Bobby Axelrod reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bobby Axelrod stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdemar de Moraes's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Ismael Nazario Serre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stanislav Konvalinka's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Nazario Serre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bobby Axelrod made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar de Moraes in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Jaroslav Bubela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, SK Slavia Bohnice's Jesper Van Landschoot got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Papunhas EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SK Slavia Bohnice were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdemar de Moraes to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Martin Kožený got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Agostinho de Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Papunhas EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agostinho de Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Stanislav Konvalinka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Kožený in the 66th minute of play. Telmo Peres charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Telmo Peres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SK Slavia Bohnice booed when Papunhas EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Martin Kožený managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Slavia Bohnice's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Kožený was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Nazario Serre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 73 minutes of play, Papunhas EC's Valdemar de Moraes made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bobby Axelrod was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute Agostinho de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bobby Axelrod saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Kožený in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. SK Slavia Bohnice's Dušan Kyjovský was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael Nazario Serre in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pavel Machek kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ismael Nazario Serre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stanislav Konvalinka. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
