Vicente Santana who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Bobby Axelrod when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Consejo del Mate booed when SK Slavia Bohnice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Kožený didn't get a good kick on the ball. Consejo del Mate's Bolo Bolaño got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Bolo Bolaño put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bobby Axelrod. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Kožený in the 19th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, SK Slavia Bohnice's Stanislav Konvalinka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Orlando Gatti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bobby Axelrod made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 36th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bolo Bolaño in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bobby Axelrod saved SK Slavia Bohnice from getting behind. In the 89th minute, Bolo Bolaño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Bolo Bolaño made a precise shot to the right of Bobby Axelrod. SK Slavia Bohnice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Consejo del Mate walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
