Erhan İren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Douglas de Souza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 15th minute, Ruy da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 played minutes, Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Bonifacio Guib shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Léo de Brito came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Teɱperłey Cɨŧy reached it. John Ryberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Léo de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Ryberg in the 20th minute of play. Floresta Club U18's Léo de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Loi in the 23rd minute of play. Americo Suero succeeded in the game's 24th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Léo de Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Loi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Floresta Club U18's goal looked a bit too open when John Ryberg came free, but Léo de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee showed Eliézer Correia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Teɱperłey Cɨŧy booed when Floresta Club U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliézer Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Americo Suero to strike the kick off in the second half. John Ryberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Léo de Brito made a huge save. Léo de Brito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Raymond's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute Alvaro Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Bonifacio Guib got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Floresta Club U18 defense, Alvaro Raymond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Léo de Brito. The Floresta Club U18 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Léo de Brito should have stopped the shot. Floresta Club U18 made a substitution. Vito Maia replaced Remo da Rocha. Léo de Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
