But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serge Jeanneret couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, Tarada's goal looked a bit too open when Bolo Bolaño came free, but Henrick Zeier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Consejo del Mate getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Vicente Santana hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serge Jeanneret in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Orlando Gatti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tarada were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Consejo del Mate's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oskar Gunnarsson took the corner.
