In the 4th minute, Issac Dawson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ian Grande was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ian Grande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Issac Dawson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Issac Dawson sped through R.B Leipzig's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ian Grande. 10 minutes into the match, R.B Leipzig's goal looked a bit too open when Issac Dawson came free, but Ian Grande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Issac Dawson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ian Grande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as R.B Leipzig's Josepe Mateos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Khalid Kennedy. That made the score 1-2 after 18 minutes of play. In the 20th match minute, R.B Leipzig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 石光峰 to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Ribota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Khalid Kennedy made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Eddie Willis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Micah Macdonald scored 1-3 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ian Grande, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Aloisio Munet notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of England's Khalid Kennedy. Khalid Kennedy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Kyle Cox fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored England's protests and gave Kyle Cox a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Kyle Cox hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Aloisio Munet reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Khalid Kennedy. The goal made the score 3-3. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Kyle Cox made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Leighton Davies hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, R.B Leipzig's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Cox came free, but Ian Grande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. R.B Leipzig's Ian Grande proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save R.B Leipzig from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the R.B Leipzig defense, Issac Dawson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Grande. The R.B Leipzig fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Grande should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute Issac Dawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Grande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Grande made an important save on a dangerous shot by Micah Macdonald in the 75th minute. In the 76th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Willis to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the game, Sven-Erik Asserlind was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. R.B Leipzig's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave England the free kick. The supporters of England booed when R.B Leipzig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Erik Asserlind didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Aloisio Munet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute of the match, Issac Dawson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ian Grande was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aloisio Munet, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 94th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyle Cox to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the game, R.B Leipzig's Aloisio Munet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Khalid Kennedy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4. England were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
