Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Chris Nygaard made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Jardel Batista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Jardel Batista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Valadares in the 10th minute of play. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Jardel Batista. But to his dismay, Jardel Batista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Carlos Valadares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keld Paulsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Almir Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Elivélton Guerra made in the 33rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jardel Batista however managed to control. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Denmark's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carlos Valadares was slow to take the kick. During this time Jundiaí -DMZ-'s players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Elivélton Guerra heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Gilberto Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Simon Bendtsen hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Valadares to make the kick off. Olav Graversen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Lars Steen hit a great ball. The corner ended in Chris Nygaard almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Almir Severo did a great save. When Gilberto Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Jundiaí -DMZ- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Paiva couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Chris Nygaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute of the game Elivélton Guerra made a throw-in which Isaltino Gaúcho played forward. Carlos Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Isaltino Gaúcho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jundiaí -DMZ-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. With splendid footwork Bertram Svenningsen arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-1 by the left pole in the game's 78th minute. Gilberto Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored Jundiaí -DMZ-'s protests and gave Jardel Batista a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Jundiaí -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Batista to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
