Nicu Cosoreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boleslaw Przybyciel in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. 57 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Manoel Lopes came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 61st minute of the game was made by Dan Maruță with Manoel Lopes as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boleslaw Przybyciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Mikkel Wulff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radowit Lichorobiec having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radowit Lichorobiec was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Denmark's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dan Maruță ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Ignacy Sroka advanced and headed the ball into goal, 5-0 in the 83rd minute. Serafin Semikin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
