Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samuele Kunz started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute Samuele Kunz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Blomkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hias Nüssli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Classon's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The audience was convinced that Samuele Kunz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Björn Blomkvist was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. When Jacinto Maurer came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Switzerland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Maurer couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Karlsborg's Lars Gunnarsson got a free kick in the 16th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tor Brolin. Fred Lund hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Hias Nüssli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Classon in the 34th minute of the match. Rodrigo von Känel kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 38th play minutes Samuele Kunz shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Björn Blomkvist and just under the crossbar into goal. Lars Gunnarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Classon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Fred Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute Jacinto Maurer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Blomkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karlsborg's Edvard Magnusson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leo Allemann, made in the 65th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Karlsborg's Joel Classon got a free kick in the 67th minute. Hias Nüssli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Classon in the 73rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Classon in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hias Nüssli saved Switzerland from getting behind. Fridolin Neumeister kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Stenman came free, but Hias Nüssli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Anton Stenman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Hias Nüssli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew the final whistle, Karlsborg could leave the field as winners, despite Switzerland having more of the ball for most of the match.
