Momentum FC's Loco De la Maza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 35th minute of play. Gaueko Nanclares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 39th minute of play forced Momentum FC's goalkeeper Loco De la Maza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loco De la Maza. Loco De la Maza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 45th minute of play forced Momentum FC's goalkeeper Loco De la Maza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Gaueko Nanclares made the kick off in the second half. Loco De la Maza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Momentum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Thomas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Momentum FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Lars Meesters scored to the left of an out of position Loco De la Maza, making the score, 0-5. Wim Wilmes kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Netherlands played a much better game than Momentum FC and deserved their victory. The Momentum FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
