After a rather tough play, Bucéfalo FC's Júlio Castro got a free kick in the 19th minute. Alfredo Pernambucano hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes Bucéfalo FC got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Castro. Thanks to some nice moves Baltazar Carvalho could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Vavrinec Holub however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Carvalho in the 27th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, Baltazar Carvalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Alan Rezek hit a great ball. Vavrinec Holub was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alessandro Siqueira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 33 minute of play. Vavrinec Holub made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Fernandão Damião sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute, Alessandro Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Dostal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vavrinec Holub was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Baltazar Carvalho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Baltazar Carvalho really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Bohumir Kohout lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Czech Republic fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! After having played for 47 minutes, Alfredo Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bucéfalo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Pernambucano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baltazar Carvalho to strike the kick off in the second half. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Carvalho in the 58th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júlio Castro in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vavrinec Holub saved Czech Republic from getting behind. André Moura hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Carvalho in the 67th minute of play. David Rusil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Taffarel having to interfere. Bucéfalo FC made a substitution. Arthur Branco replaced Alfredo Pernambucano. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Baltazar Carvalho sped through Czech Republic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Carvalho in the 81st minute of play. Vavrinec Holub stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baltazar Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Carvalho in the 87th minute of play. Júlio Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kvetoslav Janku kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Júlio Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. The Bucéfalo FC fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Bucéfalo FC's Baltazar Carvalho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There was no doubt that Bucéfalo FC were the better team. Bucéfalo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
