Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Metod Mlynar started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Slovakia's Henrich Slany got control of the ball when Finidi George tried to sneak it across the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Finidi George notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Slovakia's Henrich Slany. Henrich Slany was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rudi de Zwart hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claude Helssen in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Helssen came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Caseys Dreamteam 2 booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavol Koleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slovakia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Arno Dorner 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. After 39 played minutes Finidi George rounded Slovakia's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. Rudi de Zwart hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Finidi George made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Metod Mlynar got a free kick in the 51st minute. Finidi George's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrich Slany read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Ted Heijer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the game, Claude Helssen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Henrich Slany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st minute, Ondrej Biskup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Finidi George sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 64th minute of the match Rudi de Zwart completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rudi de Zwart a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Caseys Dreamteam 2 getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Rudi de Zwart hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Finidi George in the 77th minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vavrinec Koleno hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 85 played minutes Caseys Dreamteam 2 got a freekick which was hit by Arno Dorner. In the 88th minute Finidi George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
