Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Omar Toledo started the match with the kick off. Horácio Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Haji Sarap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Aranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 17th minute Joinville City - FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Tomé Neto went to the cornerflag to take it. Geovanildo Luis made a great header on Joinville City - FSCMZ's corner, it was just that Spain's Gabriel Ascaso managed to reach the ball for a save. Gabriel Ascaso made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Adhemar Santos sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute of the match, Horácio Abraão tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gabriel Ascaso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Spain's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomé Neto was slow to take the kick. During this time Joinville City - FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Spain's corner Vicente Merino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Haji Sarap quite easily take care of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Vicente Merino notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Joinville City - FSCMZ's Haji Sarap. Haji Sarap was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Haji Sarap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adria Bielsa in the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to Spain getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. David Aranda hit a great ball. After 43 minutes, Horácio Abraão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Joinville City - FSCMZ and the Spain players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Joinville City - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Abraão. The Joinville City - FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Joinville City - FSCMZ's Geovanildo Luis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geovanildo Luis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanildo Luis, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the game, Adria Bielsa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Haji Sarap was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanildo Luis, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Horácio Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Cássio de Andrade was substituted for Mbaka N'Diaye. Joinville City - FSCMZ made a substitution. Ronaldinho Gaucho replaced Horácio Abraão. Adria Bielsa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Haji Sarap came out and tried to block the shot, but Adria Bielsa slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 71st minute. Spain made a substitution. Carles Cherro replaced Omar Toledo. 78 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Adria Bielsa came free, but Haji Sarap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanildo Luis came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Joinville City - FSCMZ's zone, Carles Cherro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haji Sarap came out of the goal and Carles Cherro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Spain's Sergio Ruiz was substituted for Adria Bielsa. Spain made a substitution. Pau Herrero replaced David Aranda. 90 minutes into the game, Sergio Ruiz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Haji Sarap. Sergio Ruiz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. In the 93rd minute, Geovanildo Luis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pau Herrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haji Sarap having to interfere. Sergio Ruiz struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Haji Sarap didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spain. Spain played a much better game than Joinville City - FSCMZ and deserved their victory. The Joinville City - FSCMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
