A sloppy throw-in by Betão Ramos in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Downchester City's Romo Hidalgo. Santiago Giménez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfred Dziatkowski having to make a save. In the 14th minute Santiago Giménez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Dziatkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes WZG Sandomierz got a freekick which was hit by Hugon Czciborek. Widodo 曹操 struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Saturnin Darroja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WZG Sandomierz. Kajetan Wolniewicz's late challenge caught a Downchester City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kajetan Wolniewicz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, WZG Sandomierz's Kajetan Wolniewicz got a free kick in the 24th minute. Alfred Dziatkowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santiago Giménez went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Saturnin Darroja successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. WZG Sandomierz's Alfred Dziatkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Giménez in the 33rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Santiago Giménez put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Alfred Dziatkowski. 37 minutes into the match, Downchester City's goalkeeper Saturnin Darroja had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kajetan Wolniewicz. In the 38th minute WZG Sandomierz were awarded a corner. Betão Ramos went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Betão Ramos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Downchester City's Saturnin Darroja did a great save. 40 minutes into the match, Kajetan Wolniewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saturnin Darroja. Downchester City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kajetan Wolniewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. After 44 minutes Downchester City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Betão Ramos who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Betão Ramos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Downchester City's Saturnin Darroja did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Widodo 曹操 got free with Saturnin Darroja in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. WZG Sandomierz's Alfred Dziatkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Giménez in the 47th minute of play. The WZG Sandomierz players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Downchester City were winning 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santiago Giménez made a kick off. In the 58th minute Downchester City were awarded a corner. Xabat Figueroa went to the cornerflag to take it. Saturnin Darroja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajetan Wolniewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saturnin Darroja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kajetan Wolniewicz's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Santiago Giménez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Giménez got free with Alfred Dziatkowski in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfred Dziatkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Giménez in the 74th minute of play. WZG Sandomierz's Stefan Zacharczyk was substituted for Kajetan Wolniewicz. The supporters of Downchester City booed when WZG Sandomierz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mckinley Dufresne didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heriberto Merino got free with Alfred Dziatkowski in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
