In the 4th match minute, Imbituba - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. Dorival Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Souza in the 6th minute of the match. Dorival Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorival Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Dorival Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Souza in the 14th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Átomo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Souza came free, but Dorival Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Guilherme Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dorival Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Souza in the 25th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Guilherme Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorival Travassos was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Guilherme Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorival Travassos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match Imbituba - FSCMZ got a corner. Átomo F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gui Souza ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Guilherme Souza at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Átomo F.C.. 0-1. In the 38th minute Guilherme Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 played minutes Átomo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Doni Donato. In the 41st minute, Gui Souza sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Átomo F.C.'s Dorival Travassos didn't even have to move. Átomo F.C.'s Albertinho Bertassi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Guilherme Souza, made in the 47th minute of the game. Jailson Alves hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xande Xande stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Samuca Camargo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Imbituba - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Átomo F.C. the free kick. In the 54th match minute, Imbituba - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuca Camargo to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Xande Xande came free, but Ivo Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorival Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Tostão Bastos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Imbituba - FSCMZ made a substitution. Cristóvão Linares replaced Cesinha Vieira. Dorival Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Xande Xande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Imbituba - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Samuca Camargo hit a great ball.

Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
