An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 7th minute of play forced Di Röe's goalkeeper Niclas Björk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niclas Björk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 9th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Major Barna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Niclas Björk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 11th minute of play forced Di Röe's goalkeeper Niclas Björk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staffan Wikander in the 14th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Di Röe's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Niclas Björk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Åke Svanér fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Di Röe's protests and gave Åke Svanér a yellow card for diving instead. Åke Svanér kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 24th minute. Antal Valentin made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that Di Röe's Niclas Björk managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Vörös Henrik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niclas Björk was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Marc Eklund kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonny Alströmer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niclas Björk having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Hungary's Balazs Lajos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Niclas Björk. That made the score 0-2 after 58 minutes of play. Niclas Björk made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Hungary booed when Di Röe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Rydelius didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Niclas Björk in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 66 minutes Di Röe's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The referee felt a red card was in order, 69 minutes into the game, when Roger Hasselqvist put in a rough tackle. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Di Röe! Antal Valentin shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Staffan Wikander, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The audience was convinced that Major Barna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niclas Björk was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Erling Hellsing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Erling Hellsing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Di Röe's Niclas Björk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Di Röe from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Di Röe.
