Melquiades Esiquio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's Attila Mesterházy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Izotz in the 9th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mauro Izotz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Attila Mesterházy was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. When Majadita FC's Mauro Izotz in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mátyás Virág's late challenge caught a Majadita FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mátyás Virág helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC got a freekick which was hit by Mátyás Virág. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's Attila Mesterházy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Izotz in the 23rd minute of play. Attila Mesterházy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Izotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Melquiades Esiquio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Attila Mesterházy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Mauro Izotz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's Attila Mesterházy. Attila Mesterházy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Attila Mesterházy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Guipuzkoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A well-hit corner resulted in Melquiades Esiquio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mauro Izotz took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Attila Mesterházy. Attila Mesterházy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Federico Reyes made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Christian Kilstedt sent off a good shot on target. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's Attila Mesterházy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Esiquio in the 41st minute of play. Mauro Izotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Zacarias Nabar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Majadita FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
55 minutes into the match, Majadita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Máté Elek came free, but Federico Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Majadita FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Máté Elek took the corner. The corner ended in Máté Elek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Majadita FC's Federico Reyes did a great save. 58 minutes into the game, Mauro Izotz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Attila Mesterházy. Mauro Izotz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. A collision led to Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Kálmán Kozák hit a great ball. Majadita FC made a substitution. Amado Guevara replaced Harry Deckberg. After a rather tough play, Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's Kálmán Kozák got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Attila Mesterházy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demis Tzanabetis in the 63rd minute of the match. If Mauro Izotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 68th minute Mauro Izotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attila Mesterházy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Izotz might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Attila Mesterházy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauro Izotz ran back to his position shaking his head. Mátyás Virág kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Mauro Izotz came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Majadita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Izotz couldn't finish the play. Attila Mesterházy made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Amado Guevara sent off a good shot on target. Attila Mesterházy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Esiquio in the 80th minute of the match. In the 86th minute of the match Majadita FC got a corner. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Demis Tzanabetis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Demis Tzanabetis made a great header on Majadita FC's corner, it was just that Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's Attila Mesterházy managed to reach the ball for a save. Federico Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máté Elek in the 88th minute of the match. With splendid footwork Mauro Izotz arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-5 by the left pole in the game's 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Majadita FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
