After a rather tough play, Paunero's Hipolito Manni got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Albino Inguma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Tardy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Made in Honduras's goalkeeper Fulgencio Tolino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ariel Gilabert. Aristide Iureș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Fulgencio Tolino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Ariel Gilabert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Tolino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Made in Honduras booed when Paunero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Cilli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Hipolito Manni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fulgencio Tolino made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Francesco Cilli sent off a good shot on target. Francesco Cilli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Fulgencio Tolino made a huge save. After 28 played minutes Aristide Iureș rounded Made in Honduras's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. The attack was good, but when Ariel Gilabert in the 46th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ariel Gilabert to strike the kick off in the second half. Paunero's Tadeo Ederono was substituted for Ariel Gilabert. Paunero's Higinio Ticho was substituted for Cristian Peli. In the 63rdth minute of the game Tadeo Ederono who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Made in Honduras's Fulgencio Tolino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paunero's Aristide Iureș got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fulgencio Tolino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Iureș, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Fulgencio Tolino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Cilli in the 76th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tadeo Ederono's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulgencio Tolino was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Made in Honduras made a substitution. Ben Delaune replaced Mike Tardy. Made in Honduras's Timofej Bianchini was substituted for Abundio Carranza. Made in Honduras made a substitution. Aristide Iureș's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulgencio Tolino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Paunero were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Made in Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jose Rosario took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Higinio Ticho heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Paunero had won after a very even match.
