Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Boelens in the 5th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Wessel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Hațegan in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Robin Boelens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Underdogs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jan Wessel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 13th minute of play. The Underdogs's Jan Wessel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Wessel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Dolf Schoonderwoerd sent off a good shot on target. The Portugal fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Portugal's Viriato Moura looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jan Wessel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Daniel Pimentel got a free kick in the 34th minute. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 36th minute. The Underdogs's Jan Wessel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 37th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robin Boelens in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frank de Boer hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 45 played minutes The Underdogs got a freekick which was hit by Emil Kyurpanov. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viriato Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jan Wessel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Barreto in the 65th minute. The Underdogs's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Felipe Barreto scored to the left of an out of position Jan Wessel, making the score, 1-2. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Dolf Schoonderwoerd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Dolf Schoonderwoerd notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute Dolf Schoonderwoerd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dolf Schoonderwoerd's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Dolf Schoonderwoerd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Dolf Schoonderwoerd had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dolf Schoonderwoerd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Dolf Schoonderwoerd took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. Faustino Almeida made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by The Underdogs's André Luiz Linares. The Underdogs were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Portugal for a fine match.
