Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) France's Frank Peletier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes France's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Frank Peletier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 11 minutes, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Peletier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Robiquet to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Alfredo Fiori dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maxime Durand, 2-0. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Fiori in the 21st minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Billock to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Real Murçia FC's Johannes Keller got a free kick in the 50th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Peletier got free with Sebastian Frey in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rd minute, Robert Billock made a precise shot to the right of Maxime Durand. France's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Real Murçia FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Frank Peletier scored to the left of an out of position Sebastian Frey, making the score, 5-2. In the 62nd minute Alfredo Fiori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. France may have spent more time on the ball, but Real Murçia FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
