Barcelona de América's Tenorio Reiriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 20th minute of play. Zaccheo Andolina struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Tenorio Reiriz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. 30 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tenorio Reiriz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Zayvion Ispuzua sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute, Lorenzo Viergol made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Lorenzo Viergol tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Barcelona de América defense, Zaccheo Andolina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tenorio Reiriz. The Barcelona de América fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tenorio Reiriz should have stopped the shot. The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Barcelona de América booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Cutri didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Eliseo Cutri hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Curto in the 91st minute of play forced Barcelona de América's goalkeeper Tenorio Reiriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Curto got free with Tenorio Reiriz in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tenorio Reiriz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriano Curto went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Italy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
