Xentrias's Theo Fil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Italy booed when Xentrias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Closet didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Xentrias's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. 19 minutes into the game, Doctor Mugg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Flavio Vittori. Doctor Mugg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Doctor Mugg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doctor Mugg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
