Metod Mlynar started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ace Spade got free with Henrich Slany in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Laurie Cunninghan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Henrich Slany to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of KOMITYVA CHÃO QUE TREME booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kornel Jahoda didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ace Spade got free with Henrich Slany in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamílton Valladares in the 15th minute of play. Ace Spade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute of the match Slovakia got a corner. KOMITYVA CHÃO QUE TREME's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pavol Koleno ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the Slovakia defense, Jailson Vander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. The Slovakia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrich Slany should have stopped the shot. Slovakia's Metod Mlynar got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Slovakia's Henrich Slany proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Slovakia from getting a goal against them. In the 35th play minute Ace Spade came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Henrich Slany. 3-0. Henrich Slany was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Valdek Reiljan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valdek Reiljan really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. In the 44th minute Metod Mlynar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ace Spade was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, KOMITYVA CHÃO QUE TREME's Ace Spade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrich Slany made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. When Eurico Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the KOMITYVA CHÃO QUE TREME fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eurico Quirino couldn't finish the play. With 56 minutes on the clock, Kornel Jahoda commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Henrich Slany was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Henrich Slany dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. KOMITYVA CHÃO QUE TREME's Romário Monteiro was substituted for Laurie Cunninghan. KOMITYVA CHÃO QUE TREME's Betão da Mata was substituted for Jailson Vander. The audience was convinced that Ace Spade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrich Slany was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Slovakia defense, Hamílton Valladares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. The Slovakia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrich Slany should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute, Ace Spade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrich Slany was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romário Monteiro in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Romário Monteiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrich Slany. Slovakia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romário Monteiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. Eurico Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrich Slany having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Mac Oña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. KOMITYVA CHÃO QUE TREME fully deserved thier win.
