Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Serbia's Sreten Popovic started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sreten Popovic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juan Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sreten Popovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sreten Popovic in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Sreten Popovic left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Serbia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, Drasko Rajkovic threw the ball into play from the sideline. Crisólia FBPA's Ramiro Meireles quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Túlio Damião fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crisólia FBPA's protests and gave Túlio Damião a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Crisólia FBPA getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Túlio Damião hit a great ball. Juan Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sreten Popovic in the 21st minute of play. Borjan Golubovic struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Juan Matorin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serbia. 23 minutes into the match, Crisólia FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Sreten Popovic came free, but Juan Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sreten Popovic, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Vladeta Jovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sreten Popovic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Crisólia FBPA's Juan Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sreten Popovic in the 40th minute of play. Drasko Rajkovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Juan Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Sreten Popovic ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Matorin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dênis Sena to make the kick off. Sreten Popovic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute Sreten Popovic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Rasko Nestorovski threw the ball into play from the sideline. Crisólia FBPA's Dida Porto quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sérgio Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Sreten Popovic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Crisólia FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauã Mello to maneuver through the defense. Luís Eduardo Sabóia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Dênis Sena notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sreten Popovic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Matorin having to interfere. Sérgio Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 83rd minute Sreten Popovic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miljan Gavrilovic made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Crisólia FBPA's Ramiro Meireles. A sloppy throw-in by Miljan Gavrilovic in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Crisólia FBPA's Ramiro Meireles. Crisólia FBPA's Marcelinho Motta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Miljan Gavrilovic in the 89 minute of the game. Zivko Cvetkovic made in the 91st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Miljan Gavrilovic however managed to control. After some careless play in the Crisólia FBPA defense, Sreten Popovic kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Matorin. The Crisólia FBPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Matorin should have stopped the shot.
