Hahay's Espen Granerud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 5th minute of play. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Espen Granerud having to interfere. David Eikelkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Espen Granerud having to interfere. Espen Granerud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Espen Granerud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Bendyk. In the 19th minute, Hahay's Witalis Tamulewicz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Robert Bendyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 31st minute of play forced Hahay's goalkeeper Espen Granerud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Espen Granerud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Espen Granerud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 36th minute of play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Hahay's Arkadiusz Walec was substituted for Robert Bendyk. In the 48th minute, Feliks Rykaczewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 57th minute of play forced Hahay's goalkeeper Espen Granerud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arkadiusz Walec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Espen Granerud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 67th minute of play. Gust Ennemans made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hahay's Leonard Gardocki. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Hahay's Arkadiusz Walec. But to his dismay, Arkadiusz Walec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Espen Granerud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 77th minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Espen Granerud having to interfere. Hahay's Fabian Niedzwiecki was substituted for Remigiusz Pachucki. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Witalis Tamulewicz went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gökmen Parshan's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gökmen Parshan helped the player get up and apologised. Gökmen Parshan kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Espen Granerud made a huge save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Hahay were victorious despite being under pressure from Netherlands for much of the match.
