In the 15th match minute, Doffes Damer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pier Kopacz to maneuver through the defense. Romania's Carol Stinga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Romania from getting a goal against them. Carol Stinga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inge Braa in the 18th minute of play. Doffes Damer's Göran Vedholm quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vasile Ciumak, made in the 26th minute of the game. Inge Braa might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carol Stinga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inge Braa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute, Inge Braa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Doffes Damer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Carol Stinga came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Doffes Damer's Inge Braa. But to his dismay, Inge Braa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Doffes Damer's Greid Tinsmith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Olaru in the 39th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Serban came free, but Greid Tinsmith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Greid Tinsmith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sanda Cutov in the 45th minute of the match. Greid Tinsmith took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sanda Cutov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Olaru to make the kick off. The throw-in from Costica Vladimiri in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Doffes Damer's Kaj Lund. A sloppy throw-in by Sanda Cutov in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Doffes Damer's Feliks Gniech. Doffes Damer's Ronaldo Cristi was substituted for Inge Braa. 67 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Greid Tinsmith had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sanda Cutov. Greid Tinsmith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sanda Cutov in the 73rd minute of the match. Carol Stinga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Cristi, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Greid Tinsmith was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anton Stinga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 86 minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Romania's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Nordlander came free, but Carol Stinga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Anton Stinga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Greid Tinsmith was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
