Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) LOI's Sulo Montaña started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by LOI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the match, LOI's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but George Buturugã reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flavio Vittori was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Sulo Montaña capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sulo Montaña really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hüseyin Cahit Gökdoğan, made in the 35th minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, LOI's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but George Buturugã reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Buturugã. George Buturugã dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Flavio Vittori was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Özgür Özbay showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 39 minute of play. Zaccheo Andolina struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. George Buturugã didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. Ahmet Hamdi Ortan came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Flavio Vittori could save by the left post. In the 48th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buturugã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Italy's Zaccheo Andolina slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of George Buturugã. That made the score 2-2 after 63 minutes of play. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulo Montaña in the 76th minute of play. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özgür Özbay in the 79th minute of play. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. LOI's Kaan Öztanır was substituted for Eriberto Segio. Atak Koral hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Sansone Vanella made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by LOI's Tayyip Taylan. George Buturugã stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Curto's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Adriano Curto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of George Buturugã, 2-4. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Kerimhan Cevher put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by LOI's Kerimhan Cevher. But to his dismay, Kerimhan Cevher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
