Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Austria's Sandro Galishoff started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Naohiro Takahara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alan Varela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrigo Palacio came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fabio Auer could save by the left post. Naohiro Takahara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Nalder to maneuver through the defense. Naohiro Takahara struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Fabio Auer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frontera AFC. A hard shot 37 in the game by Silvestre Cisco from a close distance when the talented Fabio Auer managed to make a qualified save. Austria's players were relieved. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naohiro Takahara in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Frontera AFC booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marvin Harrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Naohiro Takahara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frontera AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Fabio Auer made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Walter Gaitán sent off a good shot on target. Naohiro Takahara did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Fabio Auer 45 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Naohiro Takahara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Cisco in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Silvestre Cisco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Auer was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Rodrigo Palacio hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Palacio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Fabio Auer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 80 minutes into the match, Walter Gaitán notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Austria's Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Frontera AFC booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonhard Maier didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naohiro Takahara in the 94th minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
